The Room of Requirement...

I think I'm in my 6th or 7th listening (yes, listening, not reading...) of the Harry Potter series.

What can I say? I love the way it is written. And the voice actor, Jim Dale, does a fantastic job of reading the text in an emotional and fulfilling way.

...

Don't you hate when you get a moment of writer's block?

I swear it's been at least 40 minutes since I wrote the opening sentences... now I'm wondering where in the world that trail was leading.

...

Oh, yeah, perhaps I was wondering about the "Room of Requirement." It is a room at Hogwarts that shows up when it is most needed by the person looking for it. And it fulfills whatever need the person may have.

Well, that got me to thinking... wouldn't a room like that be a dream to have in real life? A room where all you did was walk in and whatever it was that you may have been in need of is suddenly there? Now of course, some would have more nefarious reasons to walk into the room, but I think for the most part it would be a fantastic addition, and means to accomplish good and worthwhile things (I know, I know... subjective, but still...), to any modern home

...

I think this is one of those times my good friend Nat would advise me to re-read all my previous musings before I publish... but, meh, fortune favors the bold (haha, get it? Nah? Ah well, nevermind...), I say! We'll see where the cosmic dice land on this one.

...

This also reminds me of one of my professors in college. Dr. Steven C. Scheer (Fantastic man, helluva guy, and one gnarly fuckin' professor! May he rest in peace!) would always encourage us to just jot down whatever thoughts we'd have... that they might produce fruit!

So far this tree seems a bit barren.

But that does not mean I will just stop there! No intrepid reader(s), I shall continue on with this train of thought... perhaps I'll find a track and come to a busy station of ideas later in the day.

As for now, enjoy my wanderings... and I encourage you to do some of your own as well!
